Rakes on clay tile roofs may be finished with detached gable rake tiles as shown in figures 2 26.

Designed using uv and weather resistant foam to provide weatherblocking at all rake edges and gable ends rake seal is the only rake wedge in the industry extruded in molds. It is a term that describes the sloped sides of a gable end. The rake is not exactly on the roof. Flat concrete roof tiles refer to a variety of profiles completely lacking in any barrels or rolls. The rake can be flat with no overhang or it can overhang the gable end like an eave.
