Small glitches have relatively easy remedies. The keyword here is solid it used to be standard to use shiplap 1 boards tongue groove or other boards for the roof deck. The main advantage of sheathing a roof with plywood is that it goes on faster. For instance a branch through the roof can be largely ignored just fix the finish roofing material and don t worry about a little hole in the sheathing.
